Dr. Brian Cox

Originally from rural Illinois, Brian earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana before going on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in Chicago.

Brian attended and served as Chief Resident at Emory University’s School of Postgraduate Dentistry in Atlanta, Georgia. After completing his residency, he continued to work and teach for the program.

Passionate about the field of dentistry and continually improving his craft, Brian has continued to invest in his education, most recently studying restorative implant procedures and TMJ-TMD evaluation and treatment.

“I love the art of dentistry and I love helping people and that’s really all that matters.”

Creating a Better Dental Experience.

When I started Dr. Brian Cox Dentistry I decided that I didn’t want to create another volume-based dental practice. I wanted to create a better dental experience, one where the dentist does the dentistry and people are treated like people.

Meet Brian
Outside of the Office.

My family and I have lived in Fort Collins since 2002. My wife, Susan, is a dietitian and published author. Her most recent book is Princess Libuše of Prague and her Praguematic Insights. We have two daughters: Corinne, an artist who lives and works in Seattle, WA, and Brenna, a graduate student who is working towards her master’s degree in Library and Information Science at the University of Denver in Denver, CO.

My wife and I enjoy fostering dogs for local rescues and organizations and some of them we end up adopting. Our most recent addition is Louie, a 12 pound Chihuahua mix who is a bit of an ankle biter. We also have our certified therapy dog, Beryl. Beryl and Susan read weekly to second graders at our neighborhood grade school. Susan and I enjoy all of the great outdoor opportunities that Fort Collins and Colorado have to offer. Hiking, biking, fishing, climbing, snowshoeing, skiing, etc…. we’ve likely tried it all!
